Mentorship & Child Protection
RTSEF is committed to the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of all children under our programmes. Our Child Protection Policy is grounded in best practices and outlines steps to protect children from harm, ensure appropriate conduct by volunteers and trustees, and guide responses if concerns arise. Mentorship efforts support students emotionally and socially, helping them build resilience and positive life skills alongside academic achievement

How we help
RTSEF places child safety and well-being at the centre of all its programmes. Our Child Protection Policy outlines strict standards for staff, volunteers, and partners to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for every child.
Beyond safeguarding, our mentorship initiatives support students emotionally and socially, helping them build resilience, self‑esteem, and life skills alongside academic achievement. We believe education must nurture both the mind and character.
RTSEF provides guidance and counselling, giving the children a listening ear to help them in healing. Most of the children we support come from difficult environments and they undergo mental trauma and prolonged stress. For them to perform well in school, we have to nurture them and help them get through all the bad things that they may have been exposed to.
RTSEF also carries out parental encouragement and motivation for them to give the children the support and morale they need to succeed.
